Production numbers ??????

This is a question geared more towards the people who work for Klipsch...

What kind of production amounts have there been for each speaker over the years?

Like Klipschorn, Belle, LaScalla, Cornwall, Heresy, Chorus (I&II), Forte (I&II), Quartets, and the KG line....how many of each model where made during their production period?

It seems like you see alot more of some speakers then you do of others on sites like eBay. You rarely see any Quartets, but you always see Heresys and LaScallas, and usually there is a pair of KHorns on there at all times.

Just curious......so whip out those numbers!! LOL

Thanks,

Steve

That would take some serious digging to answer. Several of those models had or have much longer production lives and therefore many more exist. Some models haven't been as popular as others. There are more La Scala's than, say Quartet's simply because we have been making them for a lot longer. Forte's in both incarnations were very popular and very reasonably priced so therefore lots of them exist. I'm not sure if any of us can tell you exactly how many of each model have been made. We've built a heck of a lot of speakers in our 50+ years!

Hey fellows... I think they have to swallow those numbers. Giving out production numbers may compromise the company in some way. I know that my firm did not make a habit of giving our competitors our production numbers. I sure would like to know a round number of Klipschorns in the world for sentimental reasons. But, I can understand why that info well could be dry for us of the great unwashed. HornEd

When I started reading this thread, I was thinking exactly what HornEd said. The production numbers are confidential information. I can completely understand why this information is not disclosed, especially on the Internet.
