HSU VTF-2 vs SVS PCi 25-31

Hi. I know there's lots of talk of both the VTF-2 and the PCi's on the web, but I coudn't really find a direct comparison. Does anyone have an opinion of the two similarly-priced subs? i'm limited on budget (as much as I'd wish for a PC+ or PB2) so I'm pretty set on either of the two, the HSU VTF-2 or the SVS 25-31 PCi. Thanks!

PS If anyone in Toronto has either, and would be willing to provide an audition, please pm me.

Well I own the SVS Pci 25-31 and I highly recomend it. It fit my budget perfectly and I am more than amazed with its performance. I have not heard the VTF-2 though, so I cannot compare it directly. However, I think that most people here will recomend the SVS.

based on a recent review i read on the hometheaterspot... there is no comparison between the vtf-2 and the 25-31pci (custom tuned to 22.. to make it officially a 22-31pci). the 22-31pci is even better than the stf-3 and the vtf-3 according to the same review (and several others, ask ron stimpson from SVS to send u the link if u want).

i have the svs 22-31pci - and there is NO WAY the small vtf-2 can take this guy on.

Thanks for the comments so far. Both these subs seem to have higher customer enthusiasm than comparable (either in price or in performance, but never both in a good way) store-found subs such as velodynes, BA, klipsch (sorry klipsch I love your stuff but these subs seem to have it going for them!) etc.
