ibaran
I am seeking a source for CARA files for various Klispch models. CARA's site doesn't list files for any current models. Any assistance is appreciated.

soundog
This looks interesting - anyone have any experience with this? Guess you would have to use one of the generic files for Klipsch speakers.
Klipsch Employees Trey Cannon Posted May 14, 2004 Klipsch Employees Share Posted May 14, 2004 as far as I know, Klipsch has never worked with CARA to produce these specks Do you know what data is needed? We use LMS and TEFF-20 for most testing in the lab.
ibaran
Indeed, I am speaking of the CARA software "(Computer Aided Room Acoustics) is a very advanced computer program for computing and optimizing Room Acoustics of arbitrary rooms." In order to establish speaker placement, the specific speaker's data must be supplied to the software. I'm not sure that using the generic speaker data will yield better info than my own ears. consistent
Hey Trey, Can you send me any links or info you may have for Khorns. I have CARA but it really doesn't do alot for corner placements. By the way CARA does take some time to understand but once you have the knowledge their programs do work well. It uses CAD to design your room with a selection of materials to use and various types of speakers but alas no horns!
