dubai2000
Thanks a lot dougdrake2 for the info. Now I know that I was ten years old when my Khorns were built in 1973 (and how great are they still 28 years later!!!). But what about the type identification: is this the same on all Khorns (mine reads K.D.FR)? Wolfram

Steve Phillips
Wolfram, were you asking about the same K-Horns in your first post or different ones from the 1973s?Or was that a type O?The "G" is 1968.Just wondering, that's all.
dubai2000
Thanks a lot djk. Steve, sorry, but the first post wasn't mine and 1973 is a bit 'funny' as that means that I'm only ten years older than my speakers! Wolfram

dubai2000
steve, what about a relaxing evening with nice music (after all that's what Klipsch speakers are there for, aren't they)? Wolfram P.S. Was just about to spell my own name wrongly, should probably do the same!
dubai2000
djk by the way, now that I know that it was not a rip off on the seller's part that my Khorns don't have a top would it make any sonic difference if one uses a glass top (let's say in order to show off the crossover or to put a light into it -crazy idea, but sometimes in the evening...)
