TJ255
I have a chance to upgrade to a set of RF-5's from my RF-35's for only a couple hundred (after trading in the 35's) and I would like to but I'm worried about the 5's matching with my RC3 II as my center. I also use the RS3 II's as my rear speakers. Any advice? Thanks!
damonrpayne
I owned a pair of RF-5s. I know you said you're getting a good deal, but the RF-5s aren't all that much of an upgrade from the 35s. Anyway on to your question: neither the horn size, nor the horn drivers, nor the woofers match between the RS3 II and the RF-5. So while they are relatively close to each other sonically, you're likely to notice a difference panning across the front.
gcoker
Yes to your question. In fact before the RF-25,RF-35 were out the RC-3II and the RC-7 were the two center speaker for the RF-5.
whell
Without a doubt, they will match quite well.
