t-man Posted February 1, 2001 Share Posted February 1, 2001 anybody know the difference between the KV1 and KV2? I noticed the tweeter was different , but how does this affect power and sound? I have KG 3.2s for mains. Could I go with the KV1? They sure seem to be cheaper than the going rate for a KV2. Anybody out there tried the SC-1 with a KG 3.2 or 3.5? PhilH Posted February 1, 2001 Share Posted February 1, 2001 t-man: The difference in the tweeters is due to a slight difference in the horns between the two. Possibly a little more controlled dispersion of more frequencies on the KV-2 plus a little higher sensitivity. The main difference is that the KV-2 was ported and the KV-1 was a sealed enclosure, making the 2 rated 10 Hz lower at 75 Hz. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
