mohill Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I am still building my 6.1 system and I am ready to complete my 3 front speaker setup. I currently have a RC-25 for my center channel and 3 RS-25 speakers for my surround sound. What would be the best speaker to complete the front setup, RF-25 or RF-35? NOTE: I currently do not have a Sub, but will get it later. I don't think there are any major diferrences between RF-25/35, only the bass. Just don't want to purcahse RF-35s and they over power my center channel (RC-25). Any one have feedback or opinions? Quote
D-Rex Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 I think these are some good questions so I am bumping this up to see if anyone can provide an opinion. Good luck! D-Rex Quote
nicholtl Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Since all your speakers are in the 25 series line, I would say get the RF-25's to match. Quote
Juba310 Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 I agree that matching the 25 series would do well. Put the money saved towards a sub Quote
gcoker Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 One other posibility is buy two RF-35 and RC-35 and place your RC-25 in the rear for your 6.1. The difference between the RF-25 and 35 is more than just bass. The 35's will be fuller just like going to the RF-7 from the 35's. That being said, I know money is an issue for most. Therefore, audition the RF-25 and 35's side by side and see if it's worth the extra money. Quote
