LOADEDTUNES
Item 5718501186 Style c klipschorns advertised as walnut that look like stained birch to me but i have'nt seen them in person so i can't say for sure . The funny part of the add is when the seller states that the " wheels " have come off one of the speaker but " That can be fixed easy " . lol There's another pair on e-bay that look like they've been standing in water from the staining on the lower bin . Amazing how abused some of this stuff gets .

Chris Robinson
One might note the big chip on the bottom of the right speaker. This isn't a big deal ... all one needs to do is buy some trim at H.D. for about $5, stain and finish and put it over the bottom. I did that with mine and it worked very well. Nice speaks for the price if nobody bids on them.
scriven
The real problem is not the missing wheel! It is the crummy attempt to make a "false corner" on them. These were up for sale a few weeks ago. (I guess that deal is off.) At the time there was a post in here about Frankenhorns. Sycamore, IL is not far from me. The last time they were up for sale I considered going to look at them but between the water damage and the butchery on the false corner, they seemed to be in such bad shape that I decided not to bother. ShapeShifter
For a few hundred more one could get this really nice 1980's KB Oiled Oak pair. They are located in Northbrook, IL. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=61378&item=5718079564&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting
