Rdmarsiii
Hey all, Im looking for a decent SACD player for under $250. I've found a few Pioneer Elites for about that much, but I was curious as to what else is out there. Suggestions? Thanks, David
Piranha
You could try and find a used Sony SCD C333ES on eBay. Or if you look around and get lucky, you could buy a 'B' stock unit with the full five year warranty from a retailer. Both scenarios can be had now for around $250. It is an excellent source for the money. You'll be hard pressed to beat the sound you get at the pricepoint. Several Forum members including myself own one and are very happy with them. InventiveAudio.com
You can get the Pioneer Elite 45a with a 3 year warranty for about 315.00. Another option is to look for a Denon 2200 B stock for around 290.00. I own the 47a and 2200 and they are both equally great players. Pioneer also makes a less expensive univesal player but it's not in the same league as their Elite models.

Klipsch RF7
I have mint condition Pioneer DV-563A SACD/DVD-Audio/DVD player for sale, it is an awesome player for the price of $120 Plus shipping. I paid $160 for it 2 months ago. It comes with box, manual and remote. The player is practically new and didnt get much use, i was very surprised of the sound quality from this unit on SACD and DVD audio, on movies it has progressive scan and it is very crisp on the picture. Rickieheinz
I settled on the Sony DVP-NC685V.Its got a good sound. The only things I don't like on it are that if you want to program a selection of songs you have to go on screen to do it. Also their is a blue indicator light that is on when its playing and it can be annoying at times.
