greg928gts
Gary - just the fact that it would have been years before I built a room to use it in. I'll get another one, or a pair again some day. This way it will be used, as it should be. Greg
timbley
That's some exciting stuff. I'm a bit green right now looking at the pictures and reading about your planned home theater room. But I'll get over it.

greg928gts
LOL, I just realized that I never even plugged it in to try it. For all I know it's completely blown. Greg
Chris Robinson
Guys, I'll say this again ... sorry for the repetition. We should buy a pair of Belles and keep one for a center, and sell the other as a center as well. There clearly is a market for Belle centers, which, IMHO, is the best center speaker EVER made for Klipschorns in the corners. The nice thing about buying a pair is that (a) the pair price is usually attractive, and ( you get to pick which one you keep, and © you can market the left-over as a center for someone else. If I had a little time, I'd do this ... but I already have a Belle center and am a little behind in my community work already. Just a thought ... Tom Mobley
Depending on the results of my own center Belle, I'm willing to discuss building a custom center Belle for anybody who wants one, particularly if a certain wood or finish no longer available is desired. I'm enjoying working on my Belle, and the construction is going well. Getting time to work on it is always an issue, of course. There's a thread over in Updates and Mods titled "new Belle thread-pics". With any luck at all I'll soon be updating it with more pics. I'm currently at the stage of veneering the various panels prior to final assembly.
