Markyboy
Holy Snikeys!!! This movie rocked!!! I watched it a while ago (pre HT) and enjoyed it then. Man did I enjoy hearing it through my own HT. I would recommend getting a hold of this movie, if not for the acting then at least for the action. picky
I agree with you. This is one of the movies I use to demo my system for first-timers to our place. I play the "Christmas Recon" sequence. It generates some excellent sound and A-Weighted levels approaching 102 db! (Nearly 121 db C-Weighted!!) dkp
I've watched this movie at least 5 times at home and never knew it had dts! I watched the Christmas Recon sequence in dts and was amazed at the difference in sound quality. Wow! DTS blew DD out of the water! It seems to me that the difference in processing between dts and dolby digital is almost the equivalent of an equipment upgrade. Amazing... boomer9911
DTS rocks Dolby ProLogic sound wise even now...and yet more advanced as they say blah blah......
boomer9911
just to add, the whole sequence was great until the bombs slammed into the train tunnel, computers and "reds, oranges, yellows" can not replicate to natural...IMO.... great DLP projector demo if set up right.. Eardoc
When I had my system installed - before I moved into my new house - a friend brought this over because all my DVD's were in storage. Talk about a couple guys high-fiving over the new Klipschs! It totally "rawks."
