SickPuppy
what are people spending on rsw 12's? This sounds too good to be true. Found a RSW 12 at a pawn shop for 349.00. Havnt heard it, but am assuming it works. Looks like brand new!!

unimorpheus
RSW-12 $1269.99 out the door, GoodGuys-LA. Sounds like a RW-12 to me too! But if not jump on it quick-- or I will
MrMcGoo
Sick Puppy, RSW-12s have a passive radiator that looks like a second woofer. The RW-12 has a tuned port on the front, not a passive radiator. The RSW-12 for that price is too good to pass up if it works properly. SickPuppy
Just went to look at the web site...my bad, its a rw12 , not rsw12. But even so, I'm thinking of an upgrade from my ksw 12. Ehh, maybe I'll just hold out till I get enough for the svs. It may be a year,but..
Professor.Ham.Slap
349.00 though? Forgive me for my ignorance as I've never priced an RW-12 but isn't that still a very good price (assuming it funcions properly)? Plus it can't be that old as they weren't realeased all that long ago.
tpg
My local dealer wanted $850 for his RSW-12, which is a great price... but I have gone the DIY route once again (will take pictures of this monster subwoofer when I get it ). Too bad it wasn't an RSW... if it was for $350, you should have called them at home to go sell it to you.
SickPuppy
I think it is, am gonna do a little research first. I'm curious how much of an upgrade it would be from my ksw 12 that I have now. I know mines considered real low end on the Klipsch scale but is the rw that much better, thats what I'm curious, too. sb in SC
Sick, I upgraded from the KSW-12 to the RW-12, and there was a vast impovement. I highly recommend the upgrade from the KSW. (whether it be to a Klipsh or SVS, or different brand). The RW-12 works very well with my Ref 3 line of speakers. (The KSW-12 is now used in my family room with a quintet system).
