Hayjor
I just hooked up my new HT setup. When I play the CD player the sound does not come out of the rear speakers? Is there a way to get the sound to come out of all five speakers? The CD player only has an analog connection.
gcoker
Yes, by setting the DPS (Digital processing setting) and not on stereo. No the sound produced from the back speakers will be minimum unless you have and play SACD. By setting the DPS setting I mean setting like concert hall, rock etc.
ironwoods
Hi, not familiar with your model, but I do have an older Yamaha. Some, if not most of the DSP modes should provide signals to the effects channels. Might sound silly, but do you have manual? If not, Yamaha's www. should have a PDF or something. Personally I prefer the straight up, down and dirty 2-channel listening with CD's. DVD movies are another story. Who's CDP do you have? Hayjor
It's an old Sony 5 disc changer. I've been looking at a Denon 280, would there be any difference in sound quality using the coaxial connection.
