I went with Layla instead of 461 Ocean since 461 Ocean was a horribly recorded LP. How's the SACD? Also got my 200 gram copy of Illinois Jacquet's, "Birthday Party." I just finished listening to side one and couldn't move from my seat. Amazing recording. Better than any SACD I've ever heard. Talk about 3 dimensional! Holy crap! boomac
Colin's recommendations of Paul Simon's "Graceland" and Diana Krall's Stepping Out" are right on the money. Cleve, you gotta get "Against The Grain" & "Positive Thinking". The two best from Acoustic Alchemy, in my opinion. You might want to check out Craig Chaquico as well. Try "Panorama" first. arco
Hi, If you like jazz, take a tour of www.maxjazz.com. IMHO, this is a label where recordings and performances are of near stellar quality. Only CD's though...
Joe Shmoe
Queensryche : Empire Maybe not everyones taste, but maybe not as bad as you think? Happens to be one of my favorites, especially the DVD-A version.
