psg Posted November 22, 2004 Share Posted November 22, 2004 By the time I decide, I'm sure the KV-4 will be sold.... but what do you guys think? KV-4 or single Heresy as center for La Scala? I have heard neither of them. I'm thinking the Heresy's 3-way is a better sonic/timber match. Am I right? Or does the inherent goodness of a true horizontal center (with wider dispersion?) better? I keep wondering how the KV-4 or academy can have wide horizontal dispersion with the horn aligned the way it is. The long axis is vertical! Should I stick with a single Heresy and stop looking back?
