danaarondrum
Conviced my wife and bought Synergy F-3s from Best Buy. The sound absolutly great at low and high volumes. This is the begining of my home theater system. I'm wondering if using F-2's or F-1's as floor standing side surrounds is ideal, or should I stick with the "S" series? Happy new Klipsch owner!!!....thanks in advance for the input.
kenratboy
Welcome! You have certainly skipped all the 'lesser' stuff and are playing in the big leagues. Center - get a C-2 at minimum, if not the C-3 (Best Buy's Site) Surrounds - most people will tell you to get a pair of bookshelf speakers (B-3's) and use those Enjoy! They are amazing speakers! What receiver do you have?
nicholtl
Congrats, you're going to enjoy them immensely. Ken, I'll bet you're drooling right about now, huh? For your surrounds, I'd suggest another pair of F-3's.
kenratboy
It's all just a matter of time. Just need to send a fax and wait a few weeks. Soon, very soon...

Will there be voice matching issues if I use F-2's or F-1s?
monhall
Gotta love the F3! I just got some too. For surrounds, I went with the S1s. They seem quite adequate for surrounds. If you want floor-standing surrounds, I would think the F1 would suffice. And by the way, I think the Yamaha 5790 is awesome..that's what I'm driving my system with now....came with the F3 home theatre package from BB. The advice here above is good if you can't fit the floors. dodger
