malechi
I recorded Elf and Band of Brothers using DVD shrink and I don't see that the quality is too bad. What have you guys seen by using this program?
formica
Yes I do... and it seems as good as it's competition. If you backup only the film portion you can frequently fit the entire movie without any compresion onto a 4.3G disk. Quality varies according to the compression required. meuge
I like DVD Shrink for things like TV shows, and movies where video quality isn't a priority. However, for eye-candy flicks, I prefer DVD X Copy, as it allows you to painlessly split a dual layer DVD onto 2 recordable disks without ANY loss in quality. Strangely enough, I hate the new versions of DVD X Copy, and still prefer the good old 1.
