Rdmarsiii
Hey all, how would a pair of Heathkit W4's match up with a pair of Heresy's. I know they have the Williamson circuitry and all that, and that they put out 20 watts per channel. Has anyone ever heard this combination? Thanks

Rdmarsiii
Sooo... I'm confused. Did they decide if its a good amp/design or not?

The surviving EICO amps, ignoring the circuit design itself, are all over the place on condition, from tip-top shape to abysmal. Thanks for the memories, Dean. As far as the Heathkits go that you asked about, you'd want to have new caps in them anyway. Good working ones up to spec should be fine, although I've read that they are weak on bass.
