christjared
Has anyone had this brand of speaker before? They look pretty decent and the reviews on them seem pretty good, but they didnt list what equipment they were using before them. If anyone has opinions or reviews or comments on the SX-HTB or any other fluance products let me know. Thanks
J M O N
These are supposed to be one of the infamous "White Van" speaker brands. The reviews are not likely from consumers but rather the "sellers." Beware...
wheelman
Good detail, good imaging. Poor bass responce, poor dynamics, adequate soundstage, poor depth, very good panning from speaker to speaker. They are very hard to beat for the price. That is for the 200 dollar set ( which includes two surrounds, two mains, center). They will mop the floor with those walmart, kmart satellite speaker package deals, and toss in a descent sub and your good to go untill you can get something better. I HIGHLY recomend them if 200 is all you got for a long time to spend, and want to enjoy some descent hometheater thrills. Just add a budget sub or something that is used preferablly( much better sub will be had for little money). I got my sister to buy these because she has quite the tight budget and they worked out great for her. Not very dynamic would need more power to really open them up. So using a 65 watt onkyo receiver there not bad but beg for more power. I mostly enjoy the top end detail they offer which I never would of dreamed of for that price. Not even close to the best but WAY better than I have heard for 200 dollars. Heck I never heard a 200 dollar hometheater setup other than this that used full range speakers. At least they show up on google searches, and some people seemd to like them for the price they paid.
