Bytor Posted January 11, 2005 Share Posted January 11, 2005 Hi Max, I have a 25th anniversary Linn w/ Lingo power supply and I love it dearly, but I would have to agree that a fully loaded linn is very pricey ( I paid about 3,500 US in 1998 with a benz micro glider cart, and that is with the low-end arm. It is, as your friend Tony says, wonderfully musical(for lack of a better term). I would have to warn that it is very finicky and set up dependent. As much as I love it I am thinking of buying a used VPI with a Emminent Technology linear tracking arm. The suspension of the LP 12 is just a bastard to deal with in the long run, IMHO.
