dgheck
I have attached a photo of the two Serial Number paper tags on the back....but I cannot match them up with the "official" S/N patterns. And do you suppose either of the guys who signed it still build speakers for Klipsch? Any help would be appreciated. DG Heck Texas

dgheck
Rick: Thanks for the quick reply. I had some sort of mental block trying to date the speakers because i was pretty sure that i had purchased them closer to 1980 than the obvious (now) 1984. My new problem is that I have oiled them several times over their life and I find out here that you shouldn't do that to the laquered finishes. I am wondering if there is something I should "undo" concerning the oil or just leave it be and use something else...like what don't know. Thanks. Deang
What did you "oil" them with?
dgheck
Just normal lemon oil. Nothing like the BLO treatments I see described here.
