I'd suggest to swap out your K55's L to R and confirm that the problem follows the driver. Bob Crites (BEC) on this forum is a source for the parts. mike stehr Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 I had one of my JBL 075's buzzing and doing the snap crackle and pop. I thought it was toast, almost tore it apart. Turned out to be a paper capacitor I was using. When I swapped it for another, the tweeter works fine. I think that paper cap has a broken connection inside of itself. D-MAN Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 I have learned to check the connections and reseat them, freshen them by trimming, whatever, before I tear into the driver.
