Cheerdude Posted February 18, 2005 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Want to thank everyone who has answered (or even read) my newbie questions regarding HT in General.. and specifically Klipsch. Just got back from the HT store a little lighter in the pocketbook, but with some "goods". 4 RSX-4s, RCX-4, RW-10 to go with a Pioneer 1014 (previous bought). This will be with a Sony KD-34XBR960 within the next week (hopefully). Not going to hook anything up until the TV and stand showup. Here's a dumb question to ask... for the receiver and speakers that I've gotten... is there going to be a big difference between 14 and 12 gauge wire? My fronts are going to be about a 3 foot run... while the back are about an 8 foot run for each. As I type that, it does seem like alot of speakers for a relatively small area; however, I wanted to get a set that would last me if I moved into a bigger apartment or condo/home and, while I liked the price point on the Quintets, I just didn't think that they would perform in a larger room.
