Looking for a good restaurant

J.4knee-- I guess a lot of it will depend on where you want to go. We have great restaurants in the downtown area, then there are a lot up on the Northside, also, in the 'burbs.

Where are you staying? Will you have a car?

We will likely stay at the Holiday Inn. Yes we intend to rent a car. I used Ruth's Criss so I could provide a sort general reference of the type of place we were looking for rather than list a comparable place her in San Diego no one heard of. IE not an Outback Steak House but something nicer not necessarily the RITZ but a nice place. I appreciate all of the recommendations. Gives us something to mull over and look forward to. I pretty much go by the mantra you can call me anything but late for dinner.2.gif We are typically early diners, makes it easier to get seated, dine and such, and still have an evening in front to look forward to.

If you like an early dinner to free up the rest of the evening, then I would either go downtown, or perhaps to Zionsville, which is just north up the road from the Holiday Inn (maybe 20 mins) --relatively small town with a very cute old-style downtown area with lots of shops, brick roads, etc. so you'll have more to do/see when you're done eating. Great place for just walking or getting an ice cream...

I haven't been to a restaurant there in a long time, but I hear the Brix and the Cobblestone Grill are good places. You can check it out here: http://www.zionsville.net/

Go to the Business Directory and restaurants for some menus, info, etc...

I'll keep thinkin for ya!
