I have several (From Music Direct, Accoustic Sounds, etc.) and have really liked what I have heard so far. Allan Songer Posted June 4, 2005 Share Posted June 4, 2005 Chris King has a TON of these issues--he brought a few over to my place and we listened to many of them--sometimes playing original pressings back-to-back with the 45rpm issues. Some of them were OUTSTANDING! I seem to remember the "Saxophone Colossus" being really ,really great--dead quiet and really ALIVE without resoritng to the typical "audiophile" trick of boosting the bass and treble. But I also seem to remember that the Miles Davis "Relaxin'" couldn't even hold a candle to my original NY deep-groove pressing. There were others, but this was well over a year ago and my memory is a bit fuzzy. You should send Chris a PM or email--he is SOLD on these and I think he has ALL of them!
