2ndGenKlipsch
Back in the 70's my father was a Klipsch dealer and in that time he built up a small collection of Klipsch memorabilia. I always thought all of the old Klipsch stuff he had was cool. Well for my birthday this past year he put together a little something for me as a keepsake. I figured that some of you here could appreciate all this old stuff as much as I did so I wanted to share it with you. He put everything in a CD case that he lined with old photos of Paul Klipsch and the Klipsch factory. Inside the case is a Klipsch belt buckle numbered #338, a knife inscribed "Stolen from Paul Klipsch" and an original Bullsh*t button. All of this stuff is original Klipsch stuff from the 70's. (See the attached photo's.) So I'm just curious, but how many of you know the story behind the Bullsh*t buttons???

J M O N
Pretty neat! How much you want for it??? My understanding of the buttons goes something like this. Paul would wear one on the backside of his lapel. Then, whenever he would go to a trade show or some other function where there would be representatives from the latest company pushing some new whiz-bang revolutionary technology that promised to make obsolete all other speaker types, Paul would simply turn around his lapel which would display one of his buttons. Pretty amazing that his speakers have stood the test of time and are still being built and sold. Maybe he and his buttons were right! iammikey
I was told by a previous Klipsch dealer that Paul would also hand out the pins if someone asked him a question. Kind of like: "What do you think of .....?" And, if he didn't care much for the item or ????, then he would answer by giving a Bu11s#!t pin.
