kde
I have "good" sound, but not excellent (running the THX Ultra II, with a Pioneer Elite receiver). I feel that most of my sound is coming from the front and not enough from the rears and sides. Also, my subs aren't rattling my chest. It almost seems as I am not getting enough power, but when I crank the volume... the words or voices (movies) only get louder and not the surround. I have only run the automatic setup through the receiver, and haven't adjusted anything manually (don't know how). Do I need to play a "Gladiator-like" DVD to get the full surround exposure? Spkrdctr
Just learn how to manually adjust your surround speaker levels. It is usually VERY easy. Good Luck!
Zen Traveler
I thought If you purchased this system through an authorized THX dealer they set it up for you? If not, I would run the set up again to see what the results would be--sometimes it takes several times to get it right. If that doesn't work get a Radio Shack SPL meter (do a search on this sight for "spl meter" or "radio shack").
