neomartic
what do you guys think about this? for the money I mean... obviously, you could get a lot better sub, but what about this on a budget? http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-634&raid=25&rak=daysub

I have seen other 12" subwoofers like ex. the sony at bestbuy runs for $199 and runs 150 watts.
tpg
Do you already have the 10" version of this sub, though? If so, you are already familiar with the basic sound, so I wouldn't expect miracles if I were you. For the money, though, it would probably be a pretty good value, since you can't really buy a 12" sub that cheap from any retailer. I suppose if you ran the 10" and 12" together you might come out pretty well.
formica
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to use any of their DIY drivers... and appears to simply be an economical Chinese sub. I agree 140$ (plus shipping) doesn't buy alot of sub... but I'm think you'd be better off grabbing something used in your area for the 200$ it'll cost you to get that one home.
