RAPTORMAN
I'm thinking of maybe selling my 1990 Khorns. I'm not sure what would be a reasonable price to ask. How much are they going for now a days. Here's the details: KB WL LF, 90015653, 90015654, AK-3. Near Mint condition and signed by PWK. Huck
Raptorman: New Khorns have a retail in Canada of 15k, but street price is a lot cheaper. I can get em new for 10.5k all taxes in! Huck
psg
He's not a newbie. I don't think he means how much they sell for new. He means if US$3000 is too much! So 10.5K Canadian dollars with taxes? Really? That would be from the US, right?
reactor444
I paid about $3000 CDN for my used 1988 mint walnut K-horns in Toronto two years ago....K-Horns are impossible to find in T.O. !!
RAPTORMAN
Yeah, I mean how much do pre-owned ones sell now a days. I'm sure it depends on their condition--how about a 1990 model year--I don't see that many around for sale. . Remember this is just a "maybe I would sell them". I might regret it at the end. It took me almost 2 years to find a pair in this condition---and I had to drive 5 hrs. Not to mention the hassle at the border.---IT'S ALL WORTH IT

Parrot
If it's not too nosy, why do you want to sell them, Raptorman?

RAPTORMAN
If it's not too nosy, why do you want to sell them, Raptorman?********************************************************************************No problem Paul. Sorry for the late response. I was having a hard time getting in the forum. I guess the only way was to change my password. I'm presently considering a pair of Edgarhorns with the Seismic sub. I have not made up my mind yet, although I'm getting pretty close. The thing is, I have not heard them before and will be acquiring them with full confidence. I fully trust the good Doctor. It's actually going to be a pair of Titan II. Don't ask me about the difference between the Titans and Titan II. I'm still getting some layman explanation from Dr. Bruce Edgar. I understand that the biggest difference is that the Titan II will have a straigth horn instead of a folded one. This Titan II will be featured in the 2006 CES. I love horn speakers and I love my Khorns; but I think it's time to try something different. I still have 3 pairs of Heresy II in my HT so this forum will always be my home. Parrot
I hope you end up liking them, Raptorman. I gotta tell you, though, that you are taking one heckuva chance. I've heard Edgar's stuff that he set up at two different shows and I did not care for them (although visually the wood finish was good).
