Al Klappenberger
Consistent, The AK-4 network has a sereis resistor connected between the tweeter filter and the tweeter. It would need to be changed to balance the levels. I don't like the AK-4 and would rather replace it and keep the K77 tweeter instead! Here's a computer plot of the AK4 tweeter filter. You be the judge if it's compatible with the CP25.Al K.
consistent
Thanks Al,You have obviously gotten hold of an AK-4 network and I guess you are saying once you start fiddling with the top end you are gonna need to look at the rest of the network integration with the drivers? Al Klappenberger
Yes, A customer replaced his AK-4s with one of my Extreme-slope netwroks and sent me one of them to reverse engineer. Al K.
Kudret
I think a better tweeter is a good investment for klipsch heritage speakers. The beyma is a good choice and cheaper than the JBL2404H (the "other" great choice)....... tony tony, Would JBL 2405 be an acceptable substitute for JBL2404H? And, one more thing ... would JBL 2404/5 work with AA and DHAXovers? Kudret
