casull
Hi guys. I'm about to get my self some new speakers...I have heard the RF35 and I liked it J<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> And now when Im browsing the web I have found theRB75s that also seems to be an interesting speaker. I have not the possibility to get a demo of the RB75s So Im relying of you guys to help me out here. Im going to match the speakers with a SVS 16-46 PC+ so Ill get some low end. So the big question is: Is the RB75 a better sounding speaker than the RF35? Does the RB75 has enough low end for music? So guys any suggestions? //Mike
Speedball
Welcome to the Klipsch Forum, Sounds like you have a decision to make between the floor stander or the monitor. The svs will surely be plenty of boom for music and movies. Doesn't the RB75 have the better/bigger tweeter?...........check out the specifications. Audio Flynn
RB-75 when anchored to a robust stand weighing at least 20 pounds; preferably 35 will be far superior to the RF-35. Not exactly sure of the low end performance but I would not set the sub any higher than 45 hz upper limit.
dr-dezibel
You're planning with a sub? - then RB75 is the way to go!! The RF35 is not a bad speaker, in fact it's a very good spaeker in it's price range, but the 75s play definitly in a higher class. They have better compression drivers, sound more "refined", have real wood veneer and are easier to place.
Bonzo
I would agree with the good Dr. If using a sub, the advantages of the better compression driver out-weigh the floor standers bottom end. I have a pair of RB75's and use them in a bedroom system. Give them about 100 hrs. of break-in and they are good to go! The bass will not rattle your windows but the sub will take care of that. Good luck with your decision and Enjoy the Music!
sdfan
I used to have the rf3 and now have the rb75. No comparison musically, the rb75 is far superior. Not to mention the quality of the finish, mine are cherry.
