Yesfan70
Just a curious question, not shopping or anything. What do you all think about the Heresy IIs? For the price, do you think they compare to the RB-75s? They are about the same for a pair ($1100/pr) give or take a hundred. I know there are a lot of Heritage fans here, so I was curious as to know why the Heresys aren't mentioned more often when one is putting together a system. Not that I think the Reference line is bad (I personally love them), but do you all think an all Heresy line would be a great system to have? And maybe even go a bit further and add some used tube amps, if budget allowed? After all these are from the same model line as the K-Horn and LaSacalas. To me, that would seem like one hell of a system. Anyone else agree/disagree?
dr-dezibel
An all Heresy setup is definitly a great system to have (see my profile)!! The RB75 is nearly the same size and a great speaker in it's own right. I have compared both and prefer the Heresy because of the midrange and it's tight bass. Without a sub the RB75 provide more powerful and deeper bass. It is a matter of taste which one you prefer, both are great speakers.
boomer9911
as per your YES logo(fan here) and a original Heritage owner(Khorns, LaScala's, Hersey II's, KLFC7, Velodyne FSR-18)...easy decision.....Hersey II's would smoke em....YESSSS....[Y] The Hersey is the little bad girl of the Heritage Family....she dresses catholic school...but......[:-*] put that 12" to test against the 75 ANYDAY! I have seen\heard dedicated Hersey II HT's....sweeeetttttttttt......... not a hard decision.....[] PS: worry about the speakers first, most important part, elements\components will follow....tubes....you better separate 2 channel and multi 5+ if you want.....IMO...... MrMcGoo
The Heresy III will be out soon. It is on the Klipsch web site now. The Heritage speakers, including the Heresy, are not video shielded. The Heresy would be an excellent speaker when supported with a subwoofer. It would be a better setup than the RB-75, if you have the space. Yesfan70
Wow.....Now the threes are out. I like the way they look compared to the Heresy IIs. They look more old schoolish to me. Wonder what the going price is for them and how they compare to the IIs or even the Heresy Is for that matter.

Amy posted the H III will be $1500 a pair.[]
