theryugobuddy
"Talk about things nobody cares Wearing those things nobody wears Ya callin' my name but I gotta make it clear Can't say baby where I'll be in a year" You heard this before--a few thousand times-- who is the artist or the song? There is a great Name that Tune thread in 2-Channel that 22 pages and counting, and this will be something like it-- But, with some differences-- ---Guess the name of the artist OR the name of the song to go next -- ---When you post your lyrics for the next round, limit it to songs that have been heard at anytime on the radio or XM by a classic rock artist--please no obscure tunes that many others may not have heard. Hopefully, this will be a contest of your memory, and not your record collection. ---a minimum of two lines should be used to guess the song ---Don't cheat! Police yourself. Don't use online search engines to help you guess. If you guess the lyric, post it. If you're not sure, look it up--if you weren't right don't act like you knew it--let someone else guess-- ---Hinting is very welcome-- Ok--so who knows the lyric at the top of this post? dbflash
Early 1970's band from Ft Worth, Texas who were discovered and produced by Terry Knight (of Grand Funk Railroad fame). I saw them once opening up for GFR. The song has sirens and is about death. The song title has 3 letters. The really only hit they ever had. I Remember is streached out to I I I I I I remember The lead singer also played drums and what usually happens to one hit wonders is last I heard he was selling cars in Dallas. The only reason I remember this song is I heard it for the first time in years a couple of weeks ago.
