TEXASRONANDTRISH
So I'm looking through the CD's at my local used joint and what do my eyes spy...a CD by Pat Travers called "The PT Power trio" a CD of covers. White Room by Creem Day of the Eagle by Robin trower Fire and water by free Dreams of Milk and Honey by Mountain you get the idea. This CD is GOOD!!! Anyone else hear it? I'm not a huge Travers fan but he tears it up on this. Aynsley Dunbar is on drums.

colterphoto1
I see how that works Duke, I've got LA Blues Authority Vol II Glenn Huges and Friends, Warren DiMartini, Mick Mars, Ritchie Kotzen, Tony franklin, Craig Erickson and others. It really kicks! Lots of songs about Glenn's recovery from drugs and alcohol, which is particularly heartfelt. Didn't Pat Travers have a Deep Purple link somewhere? Frzninvt
Ah yes! Pat Travers "Snortin' Whiskey, Drinkin' Cocaine" I have his best of CD and like it alot. Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush - I love the diving airplanes they did with the guitars that was awesome. Those were the days for good rock n' roll. Marino and Mahogany Rush were incredible and almost unknown-- Their live album(with the black cover) is one of the best metal albums ever--his guitar is fast and tasteful--at least as tasteful as metal can be--not a bad cut on it--and its got those dive bombing airplanes galore I saw them with Aerosmith in the mid 70's--blew Aerosmith off the stage, the bunch of drunken jerks that they were--
