t-man
I rather not ebay it so let me know if you want to buy a BFD - it's a parametric EQ for your subwoofer among other things. I still have the manual and box so shipping is not a problem. It's been sitting for a year as I'm too lazy to set it up properly. Make me an offer I can't refuse. colterphoto1
do you have a pic or can point to website please? Asking price? I'm getting ready to set up an 18" JBL cab with my Crown 1200 amp and might need some control over this beast. Thanks Michael
Olorin
T-Man, put me in line behind Michael.
t-man
Hey guys. I'll snap a photo or two later tonight or tomorrow and post it on here. I did a quick Ebay search and used 1124s (that's what I have), seems to be going for around $70-80 plus shipping.
colterphoto1
Looked it up on B site, so it's actually a feedback eliminator with 24 channels of parametric eq on board? What were you hoping to do with it, fine tune your low end send to sub? Could I ask what you didn't like about the unit? It seems pretty neat for the price. Where you located? t-man
Exactly. I wanted it for my sub to flatten out the FR. I got it for my other house, and my new location doesn't really need it any more. I does take a while to set it up. Gotta have your test tones, SPL meter and graphing software on hand to get the perfect house curve you want. There really isn't another tool that does this job better. I simply don't really need it for my current HT placement. This is a tweakers dream machine. If you don't like to tweak, you won't need one. colterphoto1
Olorin, if you want this, you can have it. I'll just use my YPAO on the Yammie for now. Don't need more complexity really. Thanks Tman. Michael
Olorin
Thanks Michael. My room is about as unfriendly as they come -- a BFD will help me immeasurably, not to mention give the wife one more thing to say I spend more time with than her. T-man, you have a PM coming your way. O
colterphoto1
Glad to help you, I didn't think my room really needed anything so complex so soon. See, I was able to pass up a deal, but it didn't have Klipsch stamped on it.[] Michael
redtop
T-man, If Olorin changes his mind, shoot an e-mail to me through the forum. I'd be interested.
