It's a bundle so it's a little more expensive than the xbox premium @ $399.99. Just ordered mine so in case I don't get the premium one on lanch date. YES!!!!! el jopez Posted November 7, 2005 Share Posted November 7, 2005 Yes, however you MUST have the hard drive peripheral to play first gen games. The first gen games will be ran via an emulator per game off the HD since both systems are of two different beasts architecturally speaking. So if you bought only the core system and not the premium one, you need the HD. There is no other way around it.
