rockwell
i own a jolida jd1000a tube amp and i am thinking about buying a pair of vintage cornwalls or something similar.i presntly use polk i9's which i think are to small and slightly sterile in sound.any suggestions of any types of speakers is welcomed as i am long out of the stereo "loop". thanks, rockwell
D-MAN
So it sounds like you are referring to anything with horns in it made by Klipsch . I get it. Any of the Heritage series horns, including Cornwalls and Heresy(s) would be fine. DM

D-MAN
Duke, you've got a point. I have seen pictures of the Chorus and Forte but have never heard them! For me, they are an unknown quantity - although either are proportioned "better" for most domestic applications than the CW, IMO. DM
Jeff Matthews
I never put much stock in Chorus since my friend's system did not sound as good as mine w/Corns. But I've heard a few of you Klipsch enthusiasts say they do compare well. So, maybe it was my amp. But I sure like the "vintage" look of solid birch Corns w/cane grill covers. It's the perfect speaker to get that "Those old beauts really rock!" response.
Bill H.
Rockwell, Do you mean you have the LSi9 speaker? If so size wise the Chorus , Quartet , or Forte model would be a great improvement for you. They are 8 ohm vs your 4 Ohm Polks, plus they have better sensitivity ........... Though CW's are nice, they are also Huge ............ If you could find someone near you, try to listen to some Klipsch speakers too see what you think.........Good Luck .
