johnyholiday
A DAW is a dedicated computer in a box, with a intuitive control surface, notice the knobs on the first pic, those are as if they were on the stomp box it's self,to dial in a stomp box, an other effects ,an if a person does run a computer for audio it should be fully dedicated ,no other function, an the hard drives of each,DAW or computor, should be back- up to 3 seperate hard drives,an in a rack vibration could become a problem,Colter i found a bass rig for you
colterphoto1
rrrrrrrrrararrarrra. yes that looks like fun can't make out the control surfaces but would guess theres a preamp of some sort no tubes, an a phase shifter/flanger perhaps, and a compressor limiter, maybe active biamp unit and amp. drool over that carlson box way sexy it is how many of those do you have johnyholiday must truly be a madman speaking in the third person without emotion but methinks theres plenty of emotion for that pile o gear. so what bass fiddle would johnyholiday be playing through such a rig?
