twodisks
Hello My first post,, we upgrading from out 20+ year old TV and Hereys's to a 40" Sony HDTV and a Yamaha RX-V1600 with 7.1. Right now I'm thinking RB-35 or RB-75 Home Theater System. Looking for thoughts and comments Thanks! Bill Andrews[]
SCOOTERDOG
Hmmm... I'd keep the heresy's and buy more for an all Heresy HT, you will be much better served. Since it sounds as if you want to stay away from large floor standing speaks IMHO going all Heritage would provide you with an awesome HT. ironwoods
Hi, to my ears, trading the Heresy for RB's would not be upgrading, although for some reason, I do like the bass out of 75's, plus I think they're more aesthetically pleasing. fastlane
I too would recommend more heresies instead of the RB's. However, if you choose to change, please give the forum members a chance to buy them. You will make friends here, and save the ebay fees. I'm sure you would net more $$$ in the end, and maybe avoid having to ship them. Merry Christmas!

I agree with Scoot, stay with Heresy's and if you need more bass, buy a Subwoofer. However, if you DO have the floorspace, bigger Heritage up front, i.e. Cornwalls, LaScalas or even Klipschorns and moving the Heresys to the rear should give you impressive HT! I'm using ChorusIIs up front and kg4s for the rear. My setup isn't supposed to sound good, but it does!
Malcolm
FWIW I have Heresys all around plus a sub and am very happy with them.
jbsl
Heresys and a sub!! Check with your dealer and see if you can bring home the demo models from the store and do a comparison with the Heresys.
