Imagine that every company just left Manhattan after 9/11, hey why not? A terrorist strike, too expensive rent, people saying that Manhattan is going to be a ghost town, get out while you can, cheaper landspace right across the river. But guess what they stayed, Companies are forced to have an office in manhattan even if it were cost ineffective. Why because that is how it just is, and should be for these american companies that decided that shareholder pressures to earn a profit outweigh the american workers..... I will be damn, when I buy a product I usually buy the better value, but that does not mean buying the cheapest. I weigh the quality and price together. Maybe we're all just to price consciencious and forgot the value of quality? BTW don't mind me, I build DIY subwoofers and such, where I say if your going to make it, make it better for the same cost, not cheaper for the same quality. Hence my no frills 20X20X 30 dual sealed box designed to hit the 120db at 20 hertz mark. That was my original mark and mark my words I will not undershoot it. My point here is that we don't need legislation, tariffs, etc. We in America, with our buying power, can put Walmart under or , as we have done, make them the biggest retailer on the planet. We can boycott them until they start selling US products. We have the power. The power in our wallets is unbelievable. More effective than the ballot box. If more people only realized it.
