BS Button
Duke, Thinking of Crown com or micro tech. How to go from RCA outs Preamp to (balanced or 1/4") in amp? I think I've spotted the correct adapters for the 1/4" deal, but what about balanced. Would Crown convert to rca or 1/4" plug? What are my options here? Jeff Matthews
I use a cable that RS sells. It has RCA on 1 side and 1/4" on the other. I would steer clear of using adapters. There's just more room for loss of connection there.
BS Button
Jeff, There is a crown com tech for sale with a mono module installed and balanced inputs. Could Crown convert this amp to 1/4" jacks and change the module? BS
Duke Spinner
all these amps have "PIP" cards, it's an input card in various configurations... Com Techs usually have a barrier strip input card that is balanced ... for unbalanced operation, you just use #1 and # 2 spade terms
