Extension of the K77 is quite good out to about 15,000 to 17,000Hz, then it begins to roll off. However, few people complain about the high frequency output or extension of the K77.

FYI, if you can't hear a super high pitch noise coming out of your computer monitor or your TV, you can't hear 15,000Hz at a normal threshold (for someone under the age of 20). Loss in sensitivity to sounds above 15Khz after the age of about 20-25, for a man, is normal. Women can hear better - my wife can easily hear an energized cathode ray tube (TV, monitor) the instant she walks in a room. I can occasionally hear the 15KHz pitch coming out of my monitor, but not today. I'm not sure how many dB it is, but it not quite enough for me.

Update: my wife just walked through the room and I asked her if she could hear the CRT high pitch (from across this rather large room). She said "Yeah, I can hear it easily, it sounds like it always does. I can hear it when I'm lying in bed and your on the computer (50 feet away and in another room)." Dang, I was hoping she would say she couldn't hear it. I might have to test out a dog whistle on her (Okay, I know what you guys are thinking, and trust me, my wife ain't a dog.)

Hope you guys are all doing great,

Andy
