fletcherkane
Good afternoon guys. I seem to have found an outlet for vintage Marantz gear. A month or so ago, I sold a Marantz 2215b on this forum (to woodsman) that I found at a local thrift store. I go back in today and here amongst the other junk clock radios and console TV's is another classic unit. This unit is beautiful. It sounds great. And to top it off, it has the classic silver face and the wood case (most units I have seen have the black case. Other than a small chip out of the wood--which has been reglued, the unit is flawless. Here is a link with all the specs: http://www.classic-audio.com/marantz/2226b.html Don't let the 26 watts per Channel fool you, this unit cranks--These are true watts, not inflated like today's receivers. Pics available--can email them or will post pics later tonight--don't have my digi cam here at the office. First $175 plus shipping takes it home. If no takers here, it is off to ebay. Thanks guys.
