mamacmil
I've got a KSW-12 with an Onkyo 595 and Quintets (hey, I'm new to this and a little short on cash!) Anyway, every once in a while the KSW will stop working. The indicator light on the front goes dark. The only way I can get the sub to work again, is to pull the fuse out, put it back in, and turn the sub back on. More often than not that takes care of the problem for the next month or so until it happens again. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Do I just have a faulty fuse? TheEAR
I have a KSW12 and I never had even ONE fuse burning. I pushed all my subs to near their limits(including the KSW12)and not one had to undergo the fuse transplant. This could be A: You push the sub to its max often B: The sub amplifier has a problem(contact Klipsch tech support) How large is your HT room? Malcolm
More likely a loose connection between the fuse and its socket, or the socket and wiring. Easy to find out if its the fuse, though. Just replace it. If the problem persists, I suggest you contact Klipsch tech support.
mamacmil
The fuse has never actually blown. It seems like something is getting jarred inside that is making the fuse lose a connection. By taking it out and putting it back in, the problem is corrected. As far as my room, it is 20'x14'.
