Tom Adams
How negotiable?[] No reply yet from them. I think I might give them a call. I like a business that has a phone. One good thing is that they posted the cut out dimensions with it and the PR's, so I can get started on that. The wife has stuck her two cents in on this little project. She is HGTV, TLC happy. All the home shows. She was wondering if I could " put a finish on it that would blend in the room " I told her I would think about it. Finish really doesn't matter to me so I don't care just as long as I can wake the dead. toodles Well.....you could go to a local furniture restoration specialist and get them to quote you on what a fine veneer finish would cost on your cab. Then give it to your wife. After she chokes on the estimate, tell her that you've already given the dude a deposit. That should cure her blending notions. billyjoe72
I've decided I am going to veneer. I'm not sure what variety of wood yet. I'm looking on ebay for now. A guy has alot of pretty stuff. I like looking at the curly wood. I spent my money that I was going to use for the amp on a pair of klf 20's.[] $550. I couldn't pass it up. You might have seen my other thread in home theater. Four of them all the way around now, with my home brew center..... I put on some Judas Priest and it was like I was getting beat up. Beautiful!! I can't even imagine how it's all going to sound with the sub and a receiver upgrade. Most importantly the receiver. I know I'm just scratching the surface. Right when you think it sounds perfect, you do something to make it sound better. How could anyone that likes and appreciates sound not listen through Klipsch? toodles
