dougdrake Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 Can't recall if this was mentioned recently, and it's a bit older (came out in 2002, IIRC), but we watched it last night. What a great movie! Not so much on the plot, but the scenery and the audio is stunning. Good looking babes (for the boys) and dudes (for the gals), awesome Hawaii surf, fun soundtrack, and a bass track for the waves that'll knock dishes off the shelves. Of course, the new 126" diag screen didn't suck, either. [] I've only surfed one day (in Maui, where this was filmed, but not at the Pipeline []) and I could totally relate when those waves come crashing over you and toss you around like so much driftwood.
