ajsons
Bernie, These pictures are great. Thank you for taking the time to travel miles away and take these pictures. That woofer magnet cover looks like it's very close to the doghouse panel. What's the clearance in between? I "built" the Dean on paper (in AutoCAD) using the plans that I have and the woofer ended up touching the doghouse. I know some of the cut angles on the plans are wrong, and I need to make adjustments. Maybe you have another picture from another angle that shows the clearance. Can you comment on the quality of construction? Also, do you think the panels need bracing?Armando
EVGuy
Here's a few more pictures showing the construction. The woofer has room because of a cut-out that you can just barely see in this picture. Construction quality is very good. Tightly sealed. EVGuy
The back of the grill is reinforced with heavy metal mesh that appears to be original.

ajsons
Q-man, You said you installed legs on your Deans and now using them in vertical config. Do you have pictures?
mungkiman
I sure wish I had the room for this. I'm getting a window shipment from Torrance, so shipping would be a snap. I even had a snipe on it until reason got the best of me... Someone should get this. Price is still low.
ajsons
Final bid is $168.50. I've seen C15W woofers in excellent condition go as much as $200 on ebay.
EVGuy
It would have been nice to have a pair. The last one I saw on ebay was mine when I bought it 5 or 6 years ago. It was local so I went and picked it up. I won't tell you what I paid for it but I've sold HF-206 tweeters like the one in it for more.
