I have only found one that fits all my needs and it is the following: http://www.comcore21.com/Sandy-Black-Plasma-Stand.htm It's less than $350 Has a place for my RC-7 Can store 3-4 components Looks good. My wife has the same thoughts onthe glass but I think she is coming from the perspective that it will need dusted more often... DIY isn't an option for me right now. The RC-7 has rear ports so it won't perform it's best without space behind it. I built the niche large enough to provide space and volume to the rear/ sides/top and bottom of the RC-7. It's sorta floating in the center of the niche and is foward to just beyond it's lip. As such it somewhat enhances the bass from the speaker.
