JBRichter
I just picked up a Super Cube I sub. I have KLF-20's as mains. My Pioneer Elite for the LFE will set the crossover at 80Hz. I have a Classe' preamp that is somewhat integrated into my system and I use the preouts for the highpass connections on the sub. I have been told from the Definitive Tech guy to set the Cube I at 60 to 65 Hz because he worked at Klipsch for 12 years and he thinks the roll off of the KLF-20's would be about the 60 to 65Hz range. I have my system sittng on a pergo floor. I would like to get your opinions. Any thoughts as to where I set the crossover? Thanks JBR
ironwoods
Hi, IMO, I hate Pergo(have it myself, through-out the rest of the house, luckily not in listening area), as it is very reflective. Try some area rugs in front of your speakers. X-O sounds about right though.
