I mean I know back then it was made to attract customers..... but today I associate pipe organs with church which I percieve as a sort of heresy to have something associated with church and another with spending money Well if you think about it an organ is nothing more than an instrument. Sure they're used in churces, but concert halls also have them as well as (apparently) a crapload of Japanese department stores. I don't think I'd directly link them to churches. Here I am as a teen back in the late '70s attempting to play a showtune on a 1927 Marr & Colton theatre pipe organ that was installed in a residence.
